Some software publishers operate affiliate schemes whereby clicks from websites like this one will earn the website owner a commission. This is common practice and does not affect the price you pay, but for the sake of full disclosure, Life after Photoshop does receive affiliate revenue from some software vendors.
This does not affect the software chosen for review, the comments made about it or the ratings given. Affiliate revenue does go some way towards offsetting the web hosting costs associated with running this site, but is not allowed to affect any editorial decisions.
One of the most highly rated products on this site has no associated affiliate scheme. One of the lowest rated has a rather good one. That’s just too bad. In the long run, I believe it’s much more important to have the trust of the audience than it is to take advantage of affiliate bonuses for products that are not the best. As a publisher, if you don’t have an audience, you don’t have anything.
