Verdict: 3.3 stars $199 is a lot of money to pay for a simplified AI photo fixer and there’s not even a trial version, just an ‘unconditional’ money back guarantee. When it works, Photo AI is good, even spectacular, but the image and its problems have to fall within its window of fixability. Photo AI is also slow, over-aggressive with noise reduction and can only fix the right sort of blur.
Resampling
Changing the pixel dimensions of a photo, usually to reduce the file size for sharing or online use. Resampling is irreversible because it changes the pixels in the photo. If you resample an image down to a smaller size, there’s no way to return it to its original size – the pixels discarded in this process can’t be restored.
Is Adobe’s Super Resolution tool any good?
Super Resolution is a new feature in Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw. It uses Adobe Sensei, the company’s in-house AI technology, to up-size images to twice their previous width and height.
